Film Shoot – ‘Last Fuel for Miles’
Last year we completed a huge project with our friends at Broken Scar Productions called ‘Damaged Goods‘ – a full length feature film. Since then, we have been planning the next project.
‘Last Fuel for Miles’ was written by Mike Tweddle & Mark Stephenson, and we have spent the week filming a Concept Trailer. We hope to take the trailer to various festivals and promote the film, with the hope of course to gain the funding to make the full length version.
The week has been a long, tiring week, filled with laughter and some frustrating moments. The locations we have been filming at have been something special. These range from Bowes Museum in Barnard Castle, to the main location, a Garage near Barton.
It was also a first for us using the Canon C100 and the Atomos Ninja 2, this was hired from Hireacamera.com and turned out to be a great camera. The quality we got will mean the finish product will stand up to viewing on both small and large screens. The camera was great to use, everything on the camera is to hand, no deep menus to go through. We were also extremely impressed with the audio on the camera. We were using our new Rode Blimp 2 with the Rode NTG-2 and the NTG-1 on the camera as a backup.
You can find out more about the film on the Facebook page here, and we will also be posting more info on our Facebook page and website.
Have a look at some of the pictures from the Last Fuel for Miles shoot.
