24hr Drumathon Livestream

After catching up on some sleep, we can let you all know what we got up to during the 24hr Drumathon Livestream we facilitated for Rockacademy.

We have filmed Rockademy’s shows for the past 4 years, so when Jon contacted us and mentioned the idea and told us it was for charity, we had to get involved! But….the 24hr part seemed to go in one ear and out the other!

We had a 2 camera setup in the studio, a wide to cover 2 drum kits, and a follow camera on Jon. The streaming was via the Blackmagic Atem Extreme and it ran without issue for over 24hrs. We had custom graphics, lower thirds with donation info and holding screens for breaks.

We were there pretty much for all of the 24hrs…apart from a quick break we had. It was a long few days but well worth it.
